This was really rare I only saw it maybe twice around thavnair. I think they were just all too similar in color and the filter freaked out and made them all the highest allowed shade of pink or whatever. Where could we post some screenshots for you? I really do like that persona 3 music so I would like to follow through by giving you some samples.ĮDIT: OH last thing! I don't have a screenshot of it but I did notice in some scenes mostly in the afternoon around sunset there would be this weird over saturation hard edge blobby effect on some clouds. I think the kuwahbara filter is really neat too, I just wish I could figure out how to make it less blobby and not have quite so high a performance hit. Overall I am impressed, you did a good job and so far all I have really felt the need to change is the sharpness. I myself am an idiot who does a lot of work at home and hates multiple monitors on my home pc. I don't know what the average ff14 player is using but even today I expect it is 1080. I think the sharpness and poly issues mostly come down to resolution. So really this is only bad on "some models" and only if you get close up. I considered upping the blur settings as you mentioned but when I did the low poly was still visible and the performance loss was staggering. My poor baby hippo is screaming in rage due to how outed his low poly count is. It really isn't that off, way closer to good than I thought it would be from the youtube videos.Īlso as another comment mentioned the poly's are kinda visible close up on some models. It is only rough in some scenes like mid day sunny new gridania. ![]() At default in scenes were there was a large amount of foliage (grass/trees/etc) the over sharpening was REALLY obvious when you were moving.Īdditionally I do feel the contrast is a bit much, but I haven't played with it yet. It still has it's too crispy moments but it is way less crazy than it was at default. As expected the sharpness is too stronk! No biggy, I adjusted it down to 0.2 and maxed the sharpness drop off to 0.01. So tried out the highest quality preset today. ![]() Lastly, if you're interested in how the shaders were made then there's a video on my YouTube channel that goes over my creative process, struggles, and the theory behind each technique I implemented. If you do use the shaders I'd love to see any pictures you take with them so please use the tag #AcerolaFX!! The wiki contains all the info you need to get started with my shaders and presets, as well as a user guide that documents how each effect works and what each setting does for the effect so you can get to gposing without any confusion. The initial release of AcerolaFX contains the following shaders: My shaders utilize an injected HDR buffer to transfer accurate color information between shaders, allowing for legitimate high dynamic range visuals which are usually faked in other GShade presets.Īdditionally, my shaders don't make use of LUTs and instead exclusively use the parameters defined by you in the GShade hud, allowing you to customize every possible aspect of each shader effect.īoth! Presets are provided for gameplay (also made by me) and many effects are provided specifically for gpose.Īn album of gameplay preset comparisons can be seen hereĪnd an album of gpose comparisons can be seen here
